An ideal roaster for a household with up to 6 people. The volume of 4.2 quarts (4 liters) allows you to prepare great roasts, casseroles and stews. It is also perfect for baking bread.

The base of the roaster is glazed, which allows effortless cleaning. It is oven and microwave safe and can withstand temperatures up to 500 degrees Fahrenheit.
Crafted from all-natural clay material, Römertopf clay roasters are made without Lead, Cadmium, or fillers. They have undergone safety testing in both Europe and the USA to ensure compliance.
We recommend soaking the unglazed lid of the roaster in water before use. During cooking, the water will evaporate and a mantle of steam will be created. The lid is intentionally designed to allow some of the steam to escape, so it is not a tight fit.
Outer dimensions of the roaster measures 11.8 inches in length, 7.7 inches in width, and 6.7 inches in height. Comes with a lid and a bottom.
